Cooling

After their fabrication, many products do not have the right temperature to be processed further. With the aid of cooling screws, which are equipped with a cooled trough and a cooled screw shaft, the desired temperature difference can be achieved by means of indirect cooling. The product flows through the inlet into the spiral screw which carefully transports it to the outlet. The surface of the conveyor pipe and/or the conveyor trough is being cooled. Water circulates in a double jacket in order to achieve cooling of the conveyor medium. The desired temperature is reached with the design of the cooling surface.
